What is Micellar Water?

Micellar water has been around for over a hundred years, the French were the first to discover this incredible water, where it was designed to help Parisians deal with the region’s infamously harsh water. 

Timeless Organics formula is made of micelles, which are micro-oil molecules suspended in De-ionized water. Micelles are attracted to dirt, contaminants, and oil. Micelles draw out impurities without drying out your skin. Rather than containing a foamy solution that strips your skin and leaves behind harsh chemicals, micelles cling on to the dirt and makeup on your skin and dissolve them while leaving behind a fresh, hydrated finish.

How do you use Micellar Water?

Part of Micellar Water’s effectiveness is in the application. Apply the Micellar solution onto our bamboo microfiber Makeup Remover Pad. Using our makeup remover pad helps to trap oil, and dirt, including makeup, mascara and sebum. When applied to skin Micellar Water and our makeup remover pad cleanse the skin by acting like a magnet, attracting and entrapping impurities without harsh rubbing or scraping.

When do you use Micellar Water?

Micellar Water can be used in place of your cleanser and toner, although we think a light spritz of our Timeless Toner or Ultra Calm Hydrating Mist can be a beneficial addition, especially on hot, humid days. Another great recommendation is use as a pre-cleanse, prior to using your normal cleanser. This creates an extra clean routine! We also like it for touching up mascara misses and for anywhere you want to get your face clean when there’s no water around.
